Our Vehicles

Each year human powered vehicles or bikes are designed, constructed and tested.

Unnamed

Our vehicle for the 2010 ASME competition is still under construction. This year's design has focused around building a smaller, faster trike.

Ripped Ride

This was the vehicle (a trike) that we used at the 2009 ASME Human Powered Vehicle East Coast Challenge.

Smooth Passin' Dude

In the spring of 2008 Smooth Passin' Dude competed at the ASME Human Powered Vehicle West Coast Challenge in Reno, NV.

First Ride with New Steering

Tonight we had are first successful ride (or should I say push) of our redesigned three wheeled human powered vehicle. A new setup for the steering was tested that allows for a tighter turning radius. We also tested out the seating position to get rough dimensions for a permanent seat and steering placements.

Club Pictured in Central Alumni Magazine

In the summer 2008 issue of Central's Alumni magazine, Central Focus, the human powered vehicle club was pictured on page 4 alongside an article on how central is growing to meet the needs of STEM.
