Ride in the Rain

On Friday, 27 February 2009 we made some minor adjustments to the three wheeled we've been working on.

Dr. Sianez, Tom, Ben, and I took the vehicle out behind Copernicus Hall, I stepped in and rode the vehicle back and forth making the turns perfectly. After several runs we went back into the lab, made adjustments, and fit the nosecone on.

First Ride with New Steering

Tonight we had are first successful ride (or should I say push) of our redesigned three wheeled human powered vehicle. A new setup for the steering was tested that allows for a tighter turning radius. We also tested out the seating position to get rough dimensions for a permanent seat and steering placements.
