Welcome: Experience the Fun! sticky icon

Welcome to Central Connecticut State University's Human Powered Vehicle Club. This club brings together student from a range of majors to create vehicles powered by you and I.

Throughout every semester students come together to design and build vehicles that are raced in national competitions. Students have a dedicated room, NC 14507, stocked with all the necessary tools and supplies to complete their task.

To date the club has built two single person vehicles and is in the design process for a tandem vehicle. Enjoy browsing the photo galleries and be sure to ask questions. We are always looking for new members and sponsors to join in on the fun.

We hope to see you around soon,

The Human Powered Vehicle Club Officers

Hope to see you all there, Ben

Fall 2009- Sping 2010

This spring it looks like we will be hosting the 2010 ASME Human Powered Vehicle, East Coast Challenge.  We are still working out details, but it is looking good.

As far as build the vehicle, we are ready for the new semester and will be building a replica of this past vehicle, "Ripped Rider".  The new vehicle will be slightly smaller, much lighter, and more aerodynamic.  Many members of our team will be returning and our advisor will be advising from the road as he will be away, studying Human Powered Vehicles this semester.
